Simone Newman, MS

Practice Manager

Simone obtained her master’s degree from National Louis University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri. Her experience involves working at multiple levels of care, including an inpatient psychiatric behavioral hospital as well as an outpatient mental health clinic. Simone is passionate about helping clients navigate through life challenges and improve their mental health. With many years in the field, she has developed a commitment to fostering positive change by providing a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and collaboration. She utilizes evidenced-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to address each client's specific needs. Simone's area of focus is working with clients of all ages who experience anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, mood disorders, substance use, and addiction as well as those in need of support with other life transitions and difficulties.
