Mike completed his master’s degree in social work with a specific focus in health and wellbeing at Dominican University. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Elmhurst University. As a therapist, Mike is dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward mental wellness and personal growth. With a compassionate and client-centered approach, he strives to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Mike has experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and ages, and he is particularly passionate about depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use disorders, self-injury, and self-esteem issues. His approach integrates evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Person-Centered Therapy, tailored to meet each client's unique needs. Mike believes that therapy is a collaborative process, and he is committed to fostering a therapeutic alliance built on trust, respect, and empathy. His goal is to help clients develop coping strategies, build resilience, and achieve a greater sense of well-being.
